What is VNS?
Virtual Networking Series (VNS) provides opportunities for performing arts professionals (presenters/programmers, artist/collectives, and agents/managers) to engage, gather online, and discover programming for upcoming seasons through artist showcases and agent pitches.
Forty online showcases over 3 daily sessions.
The Virtual Networking Series is where a community of presenters and programmers come to find unexpected gems for future seasons, spanning theatre, dance, music, and young audiences. Our juried showcases feature artists and collectives from around the world.
Each selected artist has produced a high-quality five-minute video explaining and showcasing their work, which we edit and curate into three unique programs, one per day. Thirty artists / collectives are programmed for adult audiences and ten for youth and family audiences.

Each session repeats in the morning and evening, so you can join whenever suits you.
Every act on our line-up is tour-ready and looking for stages. You won’t find this combination of creativity and talent anywhere else!
And you won't be watching alone! Presenters from across our network and beyond are in the room with you, commenting, asking questions, and having real-time conversations about what is standing out.

About Artist Showcases (October 6 — 8, 2026)
Artist Showcases (online, virtual) provide an occasion for artists/collectives from all regions of Canada to have their work viewed. Forty (40) performing artists have been chosen by a jury to showcase their performances online to a wide range of presenters/programmers. Each showcase will feature 5-minute pre-recorded video presentations from artists that span the genres of theatre, dance, music, and young audience.

The deadline to register is October 6, 2026. Each day features a different group of artists, with two showcase times for your convenience. Please use the individual registration link for each session.

Agent Pitches (2026 dates to be determined)
Agent Pitch sessions are an invitation-only opportunity for agents to pitch work suited to Ontario Presents' members and partner presenting networks. Agents tailor each pitch to the individual network's venue capabilities, audiences, and community.
