We are excited to announce the return of our Virtual Networking Series in the Fall of 2024! This series will include activities such as Agent Pitches from September 10th - 25th and Virtual Showcases by Artists on October 1-3, 2024.
The in-person component of Ontario Presents’ annual programming will be at our Spring Retreat, taking place from June 12 - 14, 2024, at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. Please register here before May 31st, 2024. All are welcome!

Artist Showcases
Artist Showcases will take place online on October 1, 2 & 3, 2024. Artists will be invited to apply and, if selected by a jury of presenters, submit 5 minute videos outlining a show or project that is ready to be toured across Ontario. We especially invite artists who identify as Indigenous, Black, or People of Colour, artists with disabilities, Deaf artists, as well as artists from the LGBTQ2S+ community to apply. 30 artists will be selected to be featured in one of two multidisciplinary showcases and one Young Audience showcase. There is no application fee. Each showcase will be screened twice per day and will be available for viewing afterwards. We welcome applications from all across Canada and the US.

Considering applying to showcase? We’ll be looking for:
- Projects that are available to tour in 2025/2026
- Projects that are suitable for different venue types (eg. small halls, school gyms, larger performance venues).
- Work that offers workshop opportunities
- Good quality full length videos of the show that will be touring
- Technical riders
We welcomed all disciplines in the performing arts, dance, theatre, circus and music to apply.

Agent Pitch Sessions
The series begins with several Agent Pitch Sessions taking place from September 10th - 25, 2024. Once again artist representatives, agents and managers will be invited to pitch works to targeted groups of Ontario Presents’ presenting networks, including the Volunteer-Run Venue presenters, Professional Southern-based presenters and the Ontario Classical Music Network presenters.
The presenters will determine which agents will be invited to the various pitch sessions. Keep an eye out for our call for agent suggestions! Invitations will then be sent out to agents and artist representatives. Once invited, each agent or artist representative will be required to accept the invitation and prepare to pitch for an allotted 10-15 minutes. Agents will pitch works from artists who are best suited to each presenter group. Each presenter is welcome to attend any Agent Pitch session that might be of interest to them.
2023
The Fall Virtual Networking Series in 2023 included Agent Pitches, Virtual Showcase/Pitches by Artists, and One-on-One meetings.
The series began with several Agent Pitch Sessions taking place from September 11th to 27th, 2023. The second part of the series focused on Artist Showcases that took place on October 3rd, 4th, & 5th, 2023. The final part of the series will be scheduled One-on-One meetings between artist representatives and presenters between October 16th to November 1st, 2023.
