National Indigenous Peoples Day

National Indigenous Peoples Day

Happy 29th National Indigenous Peoples Day!

The summer solstice is a time of renewal, connection, and celebration. On Saturday, June 21st we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day; honouring and reflecting on the diverse histories, cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples.

We encourage members of our network to celebrate the work that Indigenous artists create and share, and to participate in National Indigenous Peoples Day events happening in your local community, or some of the other resources shared below.

In the interview, she opens up about her recent Ontario tour, her experience participating in a Guinness World Record, and how she was reluctantly called into her role.
