Skyship Entertainment, creators of beloved family content, is seeking an experienced Stage Manager to join our team for an upcoming Southern Ontario tour of a new family-friendly production featuring our characters and songs.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between the production and theatres to coordinate logistics such as venue access, load-in, load-out and schedules.

Ensure daily show operations run smoothly on tour

Maintain production schedules, cueing, and backstage organization

Call cues during technical rehearsals and performances

Attend and manage all rehearsals, tech days, and performances

Document blocking, cues, and script changes
-
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and focused touring environment

Paid contract position - flat rate for the tour ($1,500–2,500, based on experience) + additional daily rate for rehearsals and prep days prior to the tour: $150/day

Per diem for meals while touring

Travel and accommodations covered for the duration of the tour

Prior experience as a stage manager (touring experience is a plus)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the go

Comfortable working in family and child-focused entertainment environments

Availability for rehearsals (dates TBD) and full tour (Sept 12–21)

If possible: driver’s license and comfortable driving on highways
