Reporting to the Coordinator, Front of House, act as primary onsite liason between artists and all other internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent customer experience at Performing Arts venues.
- Gather event information from Show File to fulfill artist needs
- Coordinate duties with Technical & Facility Operations, Box Office, Front of House and Food and Beverage teams
- Meet and greet artists upon their arrival at the designated venue
- Escort artists to and from spaces designated for their use, and respond to all inquires. Provide exemplary hospitality.
- Ensure that artist needs are met and that arrival/meal/performance times are on schedule
- Check supplies and report low inventory; ensure the Green Room, kitchen and dressing rooms are clean and tidy before and after each performance
- Open and set up Green Room and dressing rooms prior to the artist arrival
- At artist request, coordinate and complete necessary wardrobe duties including but not limited to: steaming and ironing clothing, minor repairs, and laundry and stain removal
- Set up food, beverages and other rider requirements; place food orders when required
- Make last-minute purchases of food or other necessities for artists with City credit card. Ensure sufficient water and towels are available for artists on stage
- Confirm complimentary tickets for artists; liaise with Front of House Manager and Box Office personnel to ensure ticket requests are fulfilled
- Confirm information regarding expected backstage guests and access to dressing rooms with appropriate personnel (artist or production managers). Communicate guests’ names with FOH, Box Office, Security and the Stage Manager.
- Assist with coordinating onsite artist merchandise sales with Food and Beverage and/or Front of House teams
- Make payment to artists by City of Brampton cheque, as applicable
- Report all concerns, accidents and incidents to immediate supervisor; follow up and take appropriate action as required;
- Record all issues in Front of House Report in Show File
- Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and
- Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff
- Attend meetings/training as required
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Smart Serve Certified
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospitality, performing arts, or event related environment
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C / AED from an accredited organization
- Submit or agree to a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction, pay attention to small details, and anticipate artist’s needs
- Work well within a team environment and independently as needed, managing priorities accordingly
- Able to read, understand and complete Front of House report in writing at the end of every shift
- Able to work a flexible and irregular schedule which includes evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to work at all Performing Arts Brampton venues including working indoors and outdoors as needed.
